Alright we have officially kicked off the series on dealing with burnout. Today I’m sharing a quick and to the point list with 17 of the most common symptoms of burn out. If you frequently experience 5 of these symptoms it is time to make some adjustments to your lifestyle. 8 or more, you’re already in the beginning stages of burnout.  If you have 10 or more, you’re in the danger zone. It is time to not only make some immediate changes, but also seek help.

Symptoms and signs of being burned out: 

      1. Anxiety.
      2. Not enjoying things you used to enjoy
      3. Depression
      4. Lack of motivation
      5. Anger.
      6. Loss of appetite
      7. Feeling of wanting to run away from everything
      8. Physical fatigue
      9. Increased illness
      10. Forgetfulness/impaired concentration and attention
      11. Insomnia
      12. Pessimism
      13. Isolation
      14. Detachment
      15. Feelings of apathy and hopelessness
      16. Increased irritability
      17. Lack of productivity and poor performance
